Hello from The Consortium

We are excited to launch The Consortium Blog — a shared, open-access space where members of our research group publish methods notes, data explorations, replications, and tutorials.

What to expect

Posts on this blog fall into a few recurring categories:

  • Methods notes — focused walkthroughs of statistical or computational approaches, including worked examples
  • Data explorations — descriptive and exploratory analyses using public or shared datasets, with fully reproducible code
  • Replications — transparent attempts to reproduce findings from published work, noting where results align and where they diverge
  • Tutorials — practical, step-by-step guides for tools, packages, and research workflows

All posts are written in Quarto, rendered to HTML, and published via Netlify. Code is folded by default — click Code on any chunk to expand it.

How posts are added

Every post lives in a branch named post/short-description. When a draft is ready for review, the author opens a pull request on GitHub. Netlify automatically generates a deploy-preview link in the PR so collaborators can read the rendered post before it merges.

See CONTRIBUTING.md for the full step-by-step workflow, including folder naming conventions and required front matter.

We look forward to sharing work in progress with you.
